Operations Multilingual - How to Translate Static Text on Your Website

  1. Login to the operations portal

    To translate static text on your website, you will first need to login to the operations portal.

  2. Click the tool icon

    Now, go to the commerce side of your site. The "Tool" icon should show up on the right side of the page. If you already had the page open before logging in to the operations portal, you will need to reload your page.

  3. Turn on Translate Mode

    Scroll to the bottom of the panel and turn on translate mode.

  4. Select the translating language

    From the dropdown in the upper right corner, select the language that you would like to translate. When using the multilingual tool, all static text with red underlines throughout the entire site can be translated. Text without the red underlining can be translated by using other methods.

  5. Press "Alt" or "Option" then click a word to translate

    Press and hold "Alt" or "Option" key, then left-click a word on the page to translate.

  6. Enter the translation into the field

    Enter the desired translation into the field.

  7. Click "Save"

    Click the “Save” button to apply the translation. Alternatively, you can press "Alt+Enter" to save.

  8. Turn Off Translate Mode

    When you are finished translating, turn off translate mode by clicking the "Tool" icon.

  9. Select "Off" from the "Translate Mode" dropdown

    Select "Off" from the "Translate Mode" dropdown and you can continue to use your website as normal.
