AWS QuickSight for Commerce

Kodaris Commerce allows you to collect an incredible amount of information about user journeys, the pages and products your users are viewing, search results, exit pages, functionality being used, marketing funnels, campaigns, and much more. While tools like Google Analytics can do this, the Kodaris platform can tie this data to personal information that stays within your audited Kodaris environment. When you use the Kodaris platform, you have the ability to leverage Amazon’s QuickSight business intelligence tool for analysis, empowering you to take actions that better serve your customers and drive additional revenue.

AWS QuickSight is fully embedded into the Kodaris platform and has many powerful features and use cases, including commerce analytics. With AWS QuickSight, you can pull in multiple data sources and create fast, comprehensive insights that are presented in straightforward, visual formats. Integrated with your existing systems and built on a flexible architecture, the Kodaris QuickSight integration enables users to utilize their online and offline data efficiently—at scale—to drive business strategy. This means that you can gather data from online sources like your commerce website, payment portal, and other online platforms, all while analyzing ERP order data in the Kodaris platform. This starts to bring together the online and offline data together in one data analysis tool.

By using AWS QuickSight, you can eliminate hours spent manually pulling and analyzing data with spreadsheets, hiring an analytics team, or paying to develop custom solutions. Access to near-real-time, digestible data allows you to perform customized analyses and obtain actionable insights, enabling you to iterate and innovate faster.

Trackable Website Data with QuickSight

QuickSight is embedded into the Kodaris Operations Portal and accessible with proper user permissions. You and your team can track and measure just about anything with QuickSight, including:

  • Website visit data
  • User behavior per visit (e.g., how many products were viewed, items added to cart, orders placed, etc.)
  • User journeys
  • Traffic sources
  • Total orders placed
  • Cart metrics
  • Top search terms
  • All search terms
  • Total logged-in users per day, week, and month
  • Total logged-in sessions
  • Average sessions per user
  • Web vs mobile users
  • And much more

Along with the data sets above, you can also track mobile app performance if you leverage our Customer Mobile App. Some of the data you can measure includes:

  • Usernames of users who have logged in to the app
  • User behavior per visit (e.g., products viewed, categories viewed, items added to cart, orders placed, etc.)
  • Total number of orders placed
  • Saved lists added to cart
  • Items added to lists
  • Items manually added to cart
  • Category views
  • Product views
  • App product searches
  • And more

No matter what data you choose to track, you have full control over setting up, maintaining, and adjusting your dashboards so that the information works best for your business. Your website data will be automatically pulled into Kodaris, and from there, you can begin setting up your tracking preferences. The data will be displayed using detailed and digestible visuals, such as charts, models, lists, and maps so that you can easily break down the data and what it means.

In addition to the extensive and ever-growing AWS QuickSight documentation and feature set, Kodaris also offers a library of documentation and videos to help you learn how to use the tool to your advantage. And as always, the Kodaris Support team is available to offer assistance when needed. Kodaris has data analysts and AWS QuickSight experts on staff who use the product extensively.
