URL Redirects

When using Kodaris Commerce for your website, you have the ability to set up URL redirects. URL redirects will ensure your website visitors and search engines are directed to the correct webpage upon the event that the original URL changes or is removed for any reason. This avoids broken links, helps maintain your website’s SEO value, and enables a positive user experience.

It is common to use URL redirects when you've moved your site to a new domain, you removed the original webpage and you want to send users to a new page, you’ve changed your website structure, you’ve changed your permalink structure, and/or you’re updating an outdated webpage and you need to send users to a new page while you’re editing the original.

No matter the reason for needing URL redirects for your website, redirects can be easily managed in the Kodaris Operations Portal. You can add, edit, and/or remove redirects within the Portal using the spreadsheet available on the “URL Rewrites” screen, or you have the ability to export and import .CSV files to manage redirects in bulk.
