Operations SEO - Update Multiple Content Page SEO OG Fields

  1. Navigate to "CMS"

    By default, Kodaris generates OG fields for your content pages based on your store SEO and CMS data. To view or update the OG fields on multiple content pages, navigate to the "CMS" section in the Operations portal.

  2. Click "Pages"

    Click "Pages". In order to access and edit CMS Pages, you will need to have the role of: "administrator" or "superuser", or have the roles of: "contentView" and "contentEdit".

  3. Click "Data"

    Since we want to update the SEO OG fields on multiple content pages, we will want to use the embedded spreadsheet. Click the "Data" tab.

  4. Search to find content pages

    Enter keywords or search terms in the "Search . . ." field to find content pages.

  5. Use the column filters to find pages

    You can also use the column filters to find content pages to update.

  6. Click the "Show/Hide Columns" icon

    Choose the columns that you would like to view on the data grid screen by clicking on the "Show/Hide Columns" icon.

  7. Select these fields

    Then, select "OG Description", "OG Image", "OG Locale", "OG Title", "OG Page", and "OG URL" columns to view on the screen along with any other needed columns. If you will be accessing this view often, it may be helpful to save this view with a sticky filter.

  8. Scroll to the right to view the added columns

    You may need to scroll to the right of the screen to view the added columns.

  9. Enter OG Type

    Once you locate the content pages you would like to update, enter the values you would like to set in the " OG Type" fields. If no OG type is specified for the page, Kodaris uses your store OG type configured on the Marketing SEO screen.

  10. Enter your Page OG Title in the fields

    Now, you can set your page OG Title. If no OG Title is specified for the page, Kodaris uses your page meta title. If no meta title is set for the page, Kodaris uses your page name.

  11. Enter OG image in the fields

    Enter your page OG image link in the OG Image fields. If no OG image is set for the page, Kodaris uses your pages primary image. If no primary image is set, Kodaris uses your default OG image set in the Marketing SEO screen.

  12. Enter OG Description

    Set your page OG description by entering data in the description fields. If no OG description is specified for the page, Kodaris uses your page meta description. If no meta description is set for the page, Kodaris uses your default store OG description set in the Marketing SEO screen.

  13. Enter the OG URL in the fields

    Set your page's OG url. If no OG url is set for the page, Kodaris uses the url of your page on your website.

  14. Enter OG Locale in the fields

    Now, set your page's OG locale. If no OG locale is set for the page, Kodaris uses the default store OG locale set in the Marketing SEO screen.

  15. Select "View page source"

    To verify that you set your content page OG fields correctly, go to a page that you have updated and then right-click. Select "View page source" or you can press "Ctrl+U" on your keyboard.

  16. Locate the OG tags

    Locate the OG tags, they should be set to the default values or the values that you entered.
