Operations AR - Set Up Priority Payment Credentials

  1. Navigate to "System"

    To add your Priority Payment credentials to the system, navigate to "System" in the operations portal.

  2. Click "Settings"

    Then, click "Settings". In order to access and update "Settings" you will need to be set up as a "administrator" or "superuser" or have the roles of: "settingEdit" and "settingView".

  3. Type in "priority" in the "Search..." field

    Type in "priority" in the "Search..." field. All of the related settings will be pulled up.

  4. Look for "priorityPaymentMechantID"

    First setting that you need to update is " priorityPaymentsMerchantId ". The merchant ID will be provided to you by Priority when your Priority Payments account is set up.

  5. Click the more details icon

    Click the more details icon.

  6. Paste your Priority Merchant ID in the "Value" field

    Paste your Priority Payments Merchant ID in the "Value" field.

  7. Click "Save"

    Don't forget to click the "Save" button to apply the update.

  8. Look for "priorityPaymentsPassword"

    Next, go back to the Settings screen and look for "priorityPaymentsPassword".

  9. Click the more details icon

    Click the more details icon.

  10. Update the "Value" field

    Update the "Value" field. This is the password to use when using Basic Authentication to access the Priority Payments API.

  11. Click "Save"

    Click "Save".

  12. Look for "priorityPaymentsUsername"

    Go back to the Settings screen and look for "priorityPaymentsUsername".

  13. Click the more details icon

    Click the more details icon.

  14. Update the "Value" field

    Update the "Value" field. This is the username to use when using Basic Authentication to access the Priority Payments API.

  15. Click "Save"

    Then, click the "Save" button.

  16. Look for "enablePriorityPayments"

    Now, to enable Priority Payments, look for the "enablePriorityPayments" setting, and click more details.

  17. Set the "Value" field to "1"

    Check and make sure that the "Value" field is set to "1".

  18. Look for "priorityPaymentsIsLive"

    To turn Priority Payments on for live bank accounts, look for the "priorityPaymentsIsLive" setting, and click more details.

  19. Set the "Value" field to "1"

    Make sure the "Value" field is set to "1", and click "Save". You have now set up all credentials needed to enable Priority Payments.
