To add your Priority Payment credentials to the system, navigate to "System" in the operations portal.
Then, click "Settings". In order to access and update "Settings" you will need to be set up as a "administrator" or "superuser" or have the roles of: "settingEdit" and "settingView".
Type in "priority" in the "Search..." field. All of the related settings will be pulled up.
First setting that you need to update is " priorityPaymentsMerchantId ". The merchant ID will be provided to you by Priority when your Priority Payments account is set up.
Click the more details icon.
Paste your Priority Payments Merchant ID in the "Value" field.
Don't forget to click the "Save" button to apply the update.
Next, go back to the Settings screen and look for "priorityPaymentsPassword".
Click the more details icon.
Update the "Value" field. This is the password to use when using Basic Authentication to access the Priority Payments API.
Click "Save".
Go back to the Settings screen and look for "priorityPaymentsUsername".
Click the more details icon.
Update the "Value" field. This is the username to use when using Basic Authentication to access the Priority Payments API.
Then, click the "Save" button.
Now, to enable Priority Payments, look for the "enablePriorityPayments" setting, and click more details.
Check and make sure that the "Value" field is set to "1".
To turn Priority Payments on for live bank accounts, look for the "priorityPaymentsIsLive" setting, and click more details.
Make sure the "Value" field is set to "1", and click "Save". You have now set up all credentials needed to enable Priority Payments.
