Operations CMS - Embed Vimeo Video Links on Website Pages

  1. Navigate to CMS section

    You can embed Vimeo as well as Youtube videos on your content pages. Navigate to the "CMS" section in the operations portal.

  2. Click "Pages"

    Then click, "Pages". In order to access, edit, and publish Pages, you will need to have the role of: "administrator" or "superuser", or have the roles of: "contentView" and "contentEdit" and “cmsView”.

  3. Click the "Add Page" button

    Click the "Add Page" button.

  4. Select "Gutenberg"

    Then, select "Gutenberg" to create a new CMS page.

  5. Click the "x" icon

    You can select a layout from here or click the “x” icon to exit the layout selection dialog box.

  6. Click on the 'Type / to choose a block,' field

    There are two ways to add the block to the editing page. One is by clicking on the "Type / to choose a block" field.

  7. Type in "/vimeo"

    Then, type in "/Vimeo".

  8. Click the "Vimeo" block

    Click the "Vimeo" block.

  9. Click the "Add block" or "+" icon

    You can also click the “Add block” or “+” icon to select a block type

  10. Type in "vimeo"

    Type in "vimeo" in the search field.

  11. Click the "Vimeo" block

    Click the "Vimeo" block.

  12. Enter the Vimeo URL in the "Enter URL to embed here..." field

    Once the block has been added to the page editor, enter the Vimeo URL you would like to embed in the "Enter URL to embed here..." field.

  13. Click the "Embed" button

    Now, click the "Embed" button.

  14. A preview should appear on your page editor

    A preview should appear on your page editor.

  15. Click "Preview"

    Preview the changes made on your website by clicking on the "Preview" button.

  16. Click "Save"

    Click the "Save" button to save your work.
