If needed, you can hide certain orders from customers in the Customer Portal by adjusting some data settings in the Operations Portal. To start, navigate to "Orders" section in the operations portal.
Next, select "Orders". In order to access and update "Orders", you will need to be set up either as an “administrator” or a “superuser”, or have the roles of: "dispatch", "orderEdit" and "orderView".
Then, go to the "Data" tab.
Click the "Show/Hide Columns" icon.
Select the "Customer Status" column by ticking the checkbox to view in the grid.
To search for the order number you want to hide. Use the column filter and enter the order number. For this example, we are looking for order number "2911".
Since the Customer Status column was just added, it will appear at the far right of the grid. Scroll to the right to locate the "Customer Status" column.
Double-click the cell to see the dropdown options. These options are completely customizable to your needs and will need to be set up before using this feature. For this example, we want to select the "Do Not Display" status that has previously been set up.
Then, select "Do Not Display".
The order will now be hidden from the customer and will no longer be available in their customer portal.
