Operations Order Management: Hide Orders Using the Customer Status

  1. Navigate to "Orders" section

    If needed, you can hide certain orders from customers in the Customer Portal by adjusting some data settings in the Operations Portal. To start, navigate to "Orders" section in the operations portal.

  2. Select the "Orders" screen

    Next, select "Orders". In order to access and update "Orders", you will need to be set up either as an “administrator” or a “superuser”, or have the roles of: "dispatch", "orderEdit" and "orderView".

  3. Go to the "Data" tab

    Then, go to the "Data" tab.

  4. Click the "Show/Hide Columns" icon

    Click the "Show/Hide Columns" icon.

  5. Select "Customer Status"

    Select the "Customer Status" column by ticking the checkbox to view in the grid.

  6. Filter by "Order number"

    To search for the order number you want to hide. Use the column filter and enter the order number. For this example, we are looking for order number "2911".

  7. Locate the "Customer Status" column

    Since the Customer Status column was just added, it will appear at the far right of the grid. Scroll to the right to locate the "Customer Status" column.

  8. Double-click the cell to see the dropdown

    Double-click the cell to see the dropdown options. These options are completely customizable to your needs and will need to be set up before using this feature. For this example, we want to select the "Do Not Display" status that has previously been set up.

  9. Select "Do Not Display"

    Then, select "Do Not Display".

  10. The order will now be hidden from the customer portal

    The order will now be hidden from the customer and will no longer be available in their customer portal.
