Assigning Products to Attributes by Product Code

Once Filter Categories and Attributes have been set up for your commerce site, products can be assigned to Attributes.

There are several ways to assign products to attributes depending on how you work with your product data. Using product codes to assign products to attributes can be used when working with small amounts of data, and will also allow you to focus on individual products in each attribute.

• Navigate to "Filter Categories" under the PIM section the Portal

• Click the details icon of the filter category that you would like to work with

• Then choose which attribute you would like to add products

• Type the product code that you would like to add to the selected attribute – this field will allow you to search as you type product codes already in the system.
• Select the product from the list, or hit "Enter" after typing the product code.

• And you will see that the entered product has been added to the attribute. Products can be added to attributes at any time.
