Through your Kodaris Commerce website, you can update the default view for the layout of a category page. The view options are List, Grid, and Catalog if you are using a standard theme.
After you select a default view for a category page, that view will automatically appear on the page when it is visited moving forward; however, your customers have the option to switch between views so that they can browse the page in a way that best suits them.
You can set the default view per category, too, so that each category page can display a view that's favorable to its product offering. This allows you, as the product merchandiser, to control the user experience, while still enabling the customer to switch between views as they’d like.
As mentioned, there are three types of category views: List, Grid, and Catalog. An example of each is shown below.
To set a default category view for your category page(s), a full library of detailed Kodaris documentation and how-to videos are available. The Kodaris team is also here to assist whenever needed.
