Operations Emails - Send Emails to Employees via the Operations Portal

  1. Navigate to "Operations"

    The operations portal allows you to send an email to employees using a template. To start, navigate to the "Operations" section in the Operations Portal.

  2. Click "Employees"

    Then, click "Employees". In order to access and update "Employees" you will need to be set up as a "superuser" or have the roles of: "administratorEdit" and "administratorView".

  3. Click "Data"

    Now, go to the "Data" tab.

  4. Search for the employee in the "Search" field

    Here, you can select to send an email to a single employee or as many employees as you like. Type to search for the employee in the "Search" field, or select the employee from the grid.

  5. Select the employee

    Select the employee by clicking the row number.

  6. Click the "Send Email" icon

    Once selected, you will notice that the "Send Email" icon has been enabled. Now, click the "Send Email" icon.

  7. Click "Email Template"

    A "Send Email" box appears. Here, you can choose the email template you would like to send to the employee. Click the "Email Template" field.

  8. Type to search for the email template

    A list of email templates is shown in the dropdown. You can type to search for the email template you want to send.

  9. Select the email template

    Select the email template from the list.

  10. Click "Send Email"

    Click "Send Email" to send the email to the employee.

  11. "Email has been successfully sent to selected employees" notification is shown

    An "Email has been successfully sent to selected employees" notification is shown after the email has been sent successfully.

  12. Sent email with the selected template

    The employee will receive this email with the selected template.
